Short and Sweet

Have you ever been standing in the middle of Vinohradska, waiting for the 11 Tram when all of the sudden you are treated to the theme to the Main Street Electrical Parade via your ipod? If not, I don’t know if I have the words at my disposal to adequately explain the sense of elation. There I was bopping to and fro in the middle of the street, in the middle of Prague. Shit. What a good day.

I have been having a lot of them lately, good days that is. Just last weekend I was treated to the latest news of my little fallen star: Britney Spears. I absolutely adore her for her seemingly endless parade of bad choices. I mean Britney has made my life more enjoyable by simply not wearing shoes. It seems effortless for her to make me smile! I think she is the only person to successfully perform a coup d’etat on themselves…and now on her own head. And I love her for not explaining herself. Would we be satisfied with any explanation? No, I don’t think so.

We want to hear that she has had a melt down, or that she has joined some religious cult. I am sure the simple truth is the Brit Brit finally got too dirty and had to shave because of lice or a small infestation of woodland creatures.

So yeah, I am having a lot of good days here despite the fact that dear sweet Anna Nicole has passed on. Things are pretty sweet here. I made enough money to pay rent. I live in Prague! And my new roommates are nice and cool and helpful. And hell there is a massive pillow fight planned for this weekend in Old Town Square – more on that later.

anyway…I just wanted to say…thanks Britney. I still love you.
